The young sports athlete Neeraj Chopra is one of the few athletes who got selected and qualified for the Tokyo Olympics with an amazing throw of 87.86 meters at the event of ACNE League making a perfect comeback to the circuit after his elbow injury. The 22-year-old Athlete missed an entire season of the year 2019 due to his prolonged injury, but after his long-lasting efforts, he nailed the Olympic Qualification with a mark of 84m in his fourth attempt and claimed his position at the top place for the International event at Tokyo. The young star kept trying for his run with his amazing first start of 81.76 m and kept improving it.

Neeraj Chopra also took to Twitter with his video captioning “87.86 mtr Feeling super awesome to be back in the competition mode. Thank you, everyone, for your good wishes and for always supporting me with an Indian flag emoticon”. Another Indian Athlete Rohit Yadav who threw an amazing 77.61 meter made it to the second position. The start for Neeraj didn’t go so well as he missed the IAAF World Championship, The Asian Championship, and the Diamond League while under medical treatment due to the injury.

His major international event was at the Jakarta Asian Games in the year 2018 where he bagged a gold medal with a national record of 88.06m.
