The world has seen many brother duos representing their nation together in the history of international cricket. Brothers like Wazir Ali and Nazir Ali from Pakistan, Hamish Marshall and James Marshall from New Zealand, Ian Chappell, and Greg Chappell from Australia, Albie Morkel, and Morne Morkel from South Africa and many more have been seen together, ruling the international cricket. Even Indian cricket team has got three cricket brothers, Mohinder Amarnath and Surinder Amarnath, Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan, Hardik Pandya, and Krunal Pandya who have represented the team in the international ICC tournaments, and made their family proud.
But no one can defeat the Pathan brothers. Both of them were all-rounder players, who were seen playing mostly in the lower middle order. Although Irfan in his initial years was seen batting in the top order, his batting order shifted. The two brothers were well-known and were praised by everyone for their excellent bowling skills. Irfan Pathan, the younger brother made the first breakthrough in the international cricket then Yusuf joined in 2008. But it was only for four years that Yusuf was seen in international cricket.
One can never forget the India tour of Sri Lanka Twenty20 match at Colombo in 2009. The true brothers were the ones who finished off the match with a victory. The brothers have rocked the international cricket with their outrageous talent. They are one of the best duos that the Indian national team has ever got. The all-rounder brother duo will be remembered forever in the hearts of the Indian cricket fans.
