Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) is back with the 14th edition. The season will kick off with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

KKR aka Kolkata Knight Riders is a team blessed with big hitters from the top to the lower middle order. From West Indies’ Andre Russell and Sunil Narine and New Zealand’s Tim Seifert to Australia’s Ben Cutting and England’s Eoin Morgan, the side boasts of multiple match-winners who are capable of bailing the team out of trouble and up the ante as and when required.

Andre Russell made his mark in the IPL for KKR in the 2015 season when he was adjudged the MVP for scoring 392 runs at a strike rate of 192 and also picking up 14 wickets. With a strike rate of over 180, Andre has hit 129 maximums in the 74 IPL games he has played. He was the MVP in 2015 as well as the 2019 edition of the tournament.

On the other hand, Ben Cutting was bought by KKR at the IPL auction in February this year for his base price of INR 75 lakh. The all-rounder is expected to be a backup for Andre Russell, who struggled with injuries last season. The Australian all-rounder played a crucial role in SRH’s title-winning 2016 season.

Who do you think will be Kolkata Knight Riders first all-rounder choice for IPL 2021?
