Christopher Henry Gayle, the big man in the team the Jamaican is undoubtedly an asset to any team being a professional T20 Player who doesn’t really seem to care about the situation of the game and just goes on bashing every bowler good or bad for sixes.
He has brought a storm with his outstanding batting skills in the stadium, almost all the time. Several sports critics had complaints with Gayle that he doesn’t stretch much saving those crucial runs in the match, but as we witnessed that over the last year’s IPL that has indeed drastically changed over the past few seasons of the IPL and he continues to be a major force of terror to the bowlers for Kings XI Punjab.
KL Rahul, on the other hand, relies on his consistency when he was bragged in from RCB to KXIP. In his debut season, he went on to make the fastest fifty that match and made 600+ runs that season that strengthened the much-needed middle order of the Punjab Team. He has not only silenced his critics with his batting skills but also with his pro-active wicket-keeping skills.
He will be seen as the captain of the team, for the first time. Ever since he has been in fabulous form of his team and continues to wreak havoc in the minds of the opponents.
It’s hard to choose between both as they have been excellent and competitive in their own way.
