Both the teams, India as well as Australia witnessed the brutality of dropping important catches during the two test matches. Both teams have excellent fielders in their teams and they all manage to grab on to even the most impossible catches ordinarily. However, during India’s tour of Australia, fielders from both the teams dropped multiple catches. Be it at the slips or in the deep, fielders dropped catches and it showed lack of catching practice during the training time.

Even the great fielders like Mayank Agarwal, Steve Smtih, Marnus Labuschagne dropped catches during the test matches. Rahane during his second test match as a captain was dropped twice after which he scored a century which hit hard to the Aussies as they lost the second test match. Even the Australia captain, Tim Paine dropped the debutant Shubhman Gill behind the stumps.

While India fielders like Bumrah, Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal each dropped a catch, Captain Virat Kohli look a flying stunner at mid-wicket and showed the team how it’s done.
