Irfan and Yusuf Pathan are one of Indian cricket’s most sentimental stories of all time. Two siblings from the town of Vadodara in Gujarat coming and playing their part for the nation is a story that reached the cricket fans in the entire nation. Irfan’s swing and Yusuf’s crushing batting will stay carved in the core of cricket fans and the selfless kinship is something for the files to record for quite a long time to come. Yet, everything in their way wasn’t generally blushing. While their accomplishments lie in the open, the story behind the ascent of the Pathan siblings is as well in the open. The battle and struggle behind it is rousing and makes one regard the duo significantly more.

They began in a real sense with nothing. Their way was loaded up with impediments and hindrances. They needed to do everything in the most difficult way possible. Misfortune was an essential topic in their childhood. They would always get in trouble for playing cricket in restricted areas and their father would have to apologize for it. They were then sent to live with their maternal uncle, where they got a chance to display their talent in front of Dutta Gaikwad, former Indian captain. This is where it all changed for the boys.

Getting his first significant advancement in 2000-01 for Baroda when Zaheer Khan was away on international obligation, Irfan’s career took one step after another, henceforth prompting a call up to the Indian test side to Australia in 2003. Yusuf, then again, needed to stand by longer for a chance yet it came for him in 2007. After Sehwag got injured, Yusuf got a chance to open against Pakistan in an important match in the finals. In comparison to his brother Irfan, Yusuf did not make much progress.

Irfan Pathan, on the other hand, managed to make a big name for himself after bowling superb swing deliveries and troubling world-class batsmen on an international level. Between the Pathan brothers, Irfan surely managed to make a bigger name for himself and gain more glory.
