KL Rahul is seen as the next big thing in Indian cricket. He is already one of the most sought after batsmen in the country and a great wicket-keeper as well. And the way he has started his international career, he looks primed for immense success at the highest stage of the game. In the 2019 World-cup, KL Rahul had a chance to open in absence of Shikhar Dhawan and this cricketer didn’t disappoint.

In the recent T20Is, we saw that the player can strike it well when the team is chasing or batting first. The strike-rate was in excess of 150 in several games showed why he is a real deal in T20Is. Rahul has moved up to sixth in the ICC T20I Rankings for Batsmen and that is enough proof. He also did a marvellous job behind the stumps and his wicket-keeping skills reminded us of MS Dhoni. The striking speed of stumping was enough to find the next best wicket-keeper for team India. KL Rahul played at different positions in the New-Zealand T20I series and he was pumped up to play the best shots in any position.

KL did a spectacular job as a keeper, as an opener or as a middle-order batsman. If this isn’t multitasking, then what is?
