Ravindra Jadeja is an Indian cricket player who is an all-rounder. Jadeja’s first Under-19 appearance for India was back in 2005 when he was only 16. He was chosen to the Indian squad for the 2006 U/19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. During the second ODI against Australia, Jadeja became the 3rd cricketer for India to score 2000 runs and take 150 wickets in ODIs in March 2019. Jadeja took his 200th wicket in test cricket in October 2018. Ravindra Jadeja is often jokingly called ‘Sir Ravindra Jadeja’ since a joke calling him “sir” went viral. Back in 2018, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, an Indian pace bowler was invited to Gaurav Kapur’s talk show ‘Breakfast with Champions’, and a lot of beans were spilled and exposing Ravindra Jadeja as a ‘Feku’. ‘Feku’ is Hindi slang for someone who lies big time. He remarked that Jadeja, at times, can lie to a great extent, and sometimes it’s difficult to comprehend. Bhuvneshwar Kumar noted that sometimes Jadeja lies intentionally, and other times it is quite spontaneous and doesn’t need an invitation to cook up stories. The same thing was validated by India’s cricket team captain, Virat Kolhi when he revealed how Jadeja used to narrate stories from his village which wouldn’t be possible in a sane world.

Jadeja underwent surgery as he suffered an injury on Day 3 of the 3rd Test series in Australia and dislocated his thumb and won’t be seen playing the test series. A lot of Indian cricket players have been injured in ongoing India vs Australia test series.
