Kohli’s extraordinary performances made it a no-brainer for RCB to retain him, even at the price of INR 17 crore.
On the contrary, Rohit Sharma is the reason Mumbai Indians can brag about being the most successful team in IPL history. The Mumbai-born batsman joined the team in 2011, and before that MI had never won the tournament. However, since Rohit was made the captain in 2013, the franchise has won the IPL trophy four times.
