After a really long wait, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is finally here. It was postponed because of the outbreak of the Coronavirus. The enthusiasm is back in the hearts of every IPL fan. Over the years, there have been many influential teams who have evolved in IPL history. There are a total of 8 teams with various talented cricketers from both the domestic team and foreign. All the 8 squads are brilliantly led by some of the amazing captains of all time. This includes Virat Kohli and Steve Smith too. Both the players have done wonders with their amazing captaincy.
Virat Kohli, the Indian cricketer has made everyone amazed with his batting skills. He has led the Indian squad really well and has hit the boundaries several times. He has established himself to be the finest batsman of the squad. But other than leading the Indian cricket team, he has led the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) too. Even though the team didn’t win a single champions trophy, but Virat has always been a great captain and kept on encouraging his teammates.
On the other hand, Steve Smith, the Australian cricketer is an amazing batsman. He has also served the Australian cricket team as its captain. Steve Smith was appointed as the captain of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in IPL 2019 by replacing Ajinkya Rahane. Since the last year, the team has been doing wonders on the field, under his captaincy.
