In a recent blog post showcasing some of the new features it expects to release this year, Google said that it is working on granting users access to more car functions via the Google Assistant. You can use your voice to lock and unlock your car, warm-up and cool down the inside, and obtain helpful information on any Assistant-enabled devices.

Google intends to release these new voice commands later this year. The voice commands will initially only work on a certain number of Volvo vehicles, but Google wants to eventually add support for additional automakers.
