Talented actress Geeta Bisht, who rose to fame with Sony TV’s show Ek Deewana Tha, is now a mother and she is enjoying this phase of her life every bit. Her world has changed now with the arrival of her little angel.
We earlier exclusively reported about Geeta delivering the baby girl on New Year – 1 January 2019.
Talking about embracing motherhood, Geeta says, “This feeling of being a mother is out of the world and can’t be expressed in words. When you become a mother, your views on the entire world changes. You feel so protective and nothing else but the health and happiness of your child is what matters. I think, as a mom, nothing can ever be enough. You are on toes 24/7 and it’s the best job in the world.”
She further adds, “I am in Delhi right now with my in-laws and my family; hence she has been showered by immense love from her Dada, Dadi, Nana, Nani and more family members. Everyone is involved in something or the other to make her happy. I get video call after every five mins and even if she is sleeping my family insists on just seeing her sleeping peacefully. In the entire family, she is the first baby girl in my husband’s side as rest of his siblings have sons. Hence, the young boys are also happy that they have got a sister, who will tie them rakhi. It is like Goddess Laxmi has arrived.”
When asked about the baby’s name, she avers, “My husband Yash (writer and actor) and I have named her Yashita. So it’s like ‘Yash’ from my husband’s name and ‘Ita’ from my name Geeta. Her name is an amalgamation of our names. However, we are yet to have the naming ceremony.”
“I am happy that we have this beautiful gift from God. It was given to us as a New Year gift from almighty as she was born on the first day of the year,” ends Geeta.
