IWMBuzz.com reviews Sony Sab show Dil Diyaan Gallaan

Sony SAB, the popular GEC, has always entertained the masses with amazing content. Taking a new turn and moving away from being a comedy channel to becoming a channel known for bringing relatable content with its pulse on the feelings of Indian families and stories which resonate with viewers, Sony SAB recently launched a new show Dil Diyaan Gallaan which is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms.

About the show:

Dil Diyaan Gallan is the story of three generations with their roots in Punjab. It explores the journey of a family where the first two generations refuse to forgive and forget but are forced to face their past and hopefully heal when the third-generation steps in. The lead star cast of the show comprises noted actor Pankaj Berry, Jasjeet Babbar, Sandeep Baswana, Ravi Gossain, Kaveri Priyam, and Hema Sood.

Good points:

Rashmi Sharma is known for her distinct narratives and for bringing alive an era on television. She has successfully touched many hearts with this heart-warming show about a family parted due to the consequences of migration. The characters are well-defined. Considering that the show is set in Punjab, the typical Punjabi tone is aptly picked up by the characters and it is witnessed by the way they talk. The creatives have put effort to ensure that the settings, costumes, and accents of the characters suit their respective backdrops. The story reveals a lot about how Indians value their culture, traditions, and emotions in their lives and that’s what connects the audiences more to the daily. The show has a simple and subtle narrative, but it addresses some hard issues that in many ways are relevant even today.

Overall, it is a decent watch. We hope that the show manages to capture the audience’s attention more in the near future.

IWMBuzz.com credits the show 3 out of 5 stars.
