Sony Entertainment Television has been a trendsetter when it comes to defining television content. And continuing the trend, the channel recently launched a new show named Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye which is produced by Shashi and Sumeet Mittal.

About the show:

Set against the backdrop of Mumbai, Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye is the journey of a couple – Soumya Verma portrayed by Vidhi Pandya and her husband Armaan Oberoi portrayed by Vijayendra Kumeria. Soumya is an ambitious and struggling TV writer and Armaan Oberoi, is a charming and successful TV producer. On the surface, their relationship seems perfect. For Soumya, her marriage with Armaan feels that of equals, with her husband supporting her ambitions but he has a deceitful side to him that no one knows of. Armaan has a different perception when it comes to real-life and believes in ruling over women. It will be a revelation for the viewers to witness how Armaan manipulates his relationships as the show progresses.

What we like:

The show has begun on a good note. Vidhi Pandya and Vijayendra Kumeria have struck the right chord with the viewers. The popular jodi from the show Udaan has managed to recreate the magic. They have showcased amazing chemistry which viewers can look forward to. Both Vidhi and Vijayendra’s acting keeps us entertained. They manage to make a mark with her screen presence.

What we don’t like:

Indian society has often witnessed some intense struggle for women. The struggle of chasing dreams and making an identity. Also the struggle of fighting for your rights even if your partner believes in ruling over women. Mose Chhal Kiye Jaaye throws light on the same subject with a new storyline. Hence, this particular concept has been overused on Indian TV.

Besides the minor hiccups, overall, it is a decent watch. We hope that the show manages to capture the audience’s attention more in the near future.

IWMBuzz.com credits the show 3 out of 5 stars.
