There is terrible news for fans of popular 2016-2018 Zee TV show, Zindagi Ek Mehek featuring Karan Vohra and Samiskha Jaiswal.

Their hope of seeing their fav couple back on screen, albeit on the web has been dashed. Social media was abuzz with news that shooting of new season might start in the summer.

But now producer Saurabh Tewari has categorically stated that it is not happening, “It was anyways never confirmed. It was just an idea which we were tossing with.”

Saurabh further informs that COVID- 19 which had felled several shows did not play any role in this decision, “Actually we had decided not to proceed with it before March.”

Channel head turned producer Saurabh has one more Colors TV show which is on hold due to lockdown. He first gained fame by making Madhubala on the same channel.

Back then Zindagi Ek Mahek was a rage with Karan’s on and off-screen chemistry with Samiksha becoming the talk of the town.

Post Mehek, Karan entered Saurabh’s other Star Plus show Krishna Chali London replacing lead Gaurav Sareen, but it did not last long.

Samiskha on her part did Colors’ Muslim social Bahu Begum, which too went down south.

Let’s hope we can see them again in some other project.

We tried to speak to both Karan and Samiksha, but could not get through to them.
