The episode of Kundali Bhagya starts with Prithvi asking Sherlyn what she is hiding, she tries to deny but Prithvi snatches the necklace from her hand. Sherlyn takes it back and says that it’s not for him but Pammi. She says Pammi is suspicious of their relationship and now wants the necklace back. She asks him why he wanted the necklace. He tells her that a person is blackmailing him to give him five million or he will tell the police that even he was at the hotel when Akshay died. Sherlyn asks how did that person come to know about this. Prithvi says that the person blackmailing him knows something about the killer, he will find it out and the family will be impressed with him for saving Preeta who is innocent. Sherlyn hits him and tells him to think about himself than Preeta. Sherlyn advises him to steal the family necklace from Mahesh Luthra’s room in order to get money. He leaves asking her to wish him luck.
Preeta is in the cell remembering all the happy moments spent with Karan. She thinks to herself that Karan is mad at her for not revealing to him, but she knows that he still misses her. She is also sure that Karan knows that she is innocent. Prithvi enters Mahesh’s room and he is not there. So he thinks that he might be in the washroom. So he calls him standing outside the washroom, but no one responds so Prithvi thinks that Mahesh has gone out. He opens the cupboard and starts looking for the necklace. He cant find the necklace in the cupboard, he tries to open the locker but it’s locked. He gets mad at Sherlyn for telling him that the necklace will be in the cupboard but it is in the locker. He starts searching for the locker key, while he is searching he hears someone coming, someone taps on his shoulders from behind. He gets scared thinking it’s Mahesh but it’s Sherlyn. He asks her to help him find the key. They both search for the key.
Mahesh comes to the police station looking for ACP. The ACP asks what he can do for him. Mahesh says his daughter-in-law Preeta is under their custody, and he has come here to take her with him on his own guaranty, he says he will surely bring her during the court hearing. ACP says that she has been arrested with proof so she has to stay in jail just like other suspects. He says she can only leave when she is acquitted from the court. Mahesh asks he can at least meet her, she gives him permission to meet Preeta.
Sherlyn and Prithvi are looking for the key but are unable to find it. Prithvi then takes a hairpin from Sherlyn and opens the locker. They both are shocked to see the necklace, he keeps it him his pocket and tries to steal some money as well, but Sherlyn stops him and tells him to leave before anyone watches. Sherlyn thinks that now they can find the truth behind the blackmailer.
