In today’s episode, we can see that Preeta is waiting for Karan downstairs. Preeta is someone he adores. Preeta is one of him, he says. He requests that Preeta take his name only once. He is inebriated and out of his mind. He tells her how much he has missed her. When she returns to the house, he becomes overjoyed. He expresses his desire to have Preeta back in his life, as they were before. Preeta is interrupted by Prithvi, who requests that she listen to him. Karan yells, “Shut up!” and Prithvi is removed from the conversation. He claims that he is chatting to his wife and that no one should interrupt him.
Sherlyn is concerned that if Preeta marries Karan, Prithvi’s intentions will fail. Prithvi and Sherlyn leave to have a conversation. He warns her that if Preeta returns to the house and takes over the Luthras’ business, all of his efforts would be for nought. He goes on to say that he will not allow this to happen. To stop Preeta, he is willing to go to any length. He informs Sherlyn that if she dares to get in his way, he would kill Preeta. Preeta is heartbroken to learn of Karan’s depression. She believes she must manage the entire family in the same manner as before, without disclosing her genuine motives for coming.
She acts arrogant with them only to show Prithvi and Sherlyn that she came for the money, not for the benefit of the family. She has only come to save her family, but she disguises herself as a selfish person to deal with the adversaries. She doesn’t want to expose her family as a source of weakness because it will make Prithvi’s threat easier. Preeta appears fearless on the outside, but she is deeply troubled on the inside.
