In today’s episode, we can see that Prithvi consults with his attorney. When the lawyer informed him that the papers were original and that no one could question them, he wondered how Preeta managed to change the entire game. While Sherlyn overhears the dialogue, he vents his rage on the lawyer. Rakhi is curious about Preeta’s true motivations for returning. Preeta is merely a well-wisher, she knows. Preeta sneaks into Mahesh’s basement to meet him. She is taken aback when she sees Mahesh chained. She begs Mahesh to come back. She claims that she can forgive everybody in her life except Prithvi and Sherlyn, who she claims were responsible for Mahesh’s mental state.
Preeta is on her way to meet Mahesh when she runs into Rakhi. Rakhi claims that she has always known Preeta. Preeta, she believes, is still the same. She simply wants to reassure Preeta that she is still on her side. Preeta is asked to tell her whatever is on her mind. She swears she’ll keep it a secret.
Preeta acts as if she doesn’t grasp what’s going on. Rakhi wonders why she’s doing this. Nothing is kept hidden from a mother, she claims. Preeta claims to have the will papers in her possession. Rakhi is referring to Preeta’s act rather than the documents. She inquires as to the rationale for the erroneous posting. Her Preeta, she says, was the one who looked after everyone. She refuses to believe Preeta married Karan for financial gain. She understands that Preeta will never be able to have a relationship with money.
