In today’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Popatlal is worried as he cannot deny his boss otherwise he will be fired from his job. Then he decides to go to Nashik and keep all the gold with Bhide. Then Popatlal carries the gold in the vegetable bag and holds the bag very carefully and goes to Bhide’s house. On the way, Chachaji sees Popatlal and stops him and asks him where he is going. Popatlal replies that he is going to Bhide’s house. Then Chachaji asks what is in the bag and why is he holding it so tightly? Popatlal replies that there are only vegetables and he is leaving for Nashik for his work so he has decided to give the vegetables to Madhavi Bhabhi. Then Bapuji tells Popatlal to donate the vegetable to the needy and tells Popatlal to give him the bag as he is going for a walk, so on the way he can give to a needy person.
Then in the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah episode, Popatlal denies Bapuji and tells them that let him do what he has decided. Then Popatlal rushes to Bhide’s house and explains everything. Bhide tells Popatlal that he can’t keep the gold as it is very risky. Popatlal tells Bhide that he is the only person he can trust. Then Bhide gets emotional and takes responsibility for the gold. Then Popatlal leaves for Nashik. Then Madhavi comes and asks what is in the box. Bhide explains everything to her. Madhavi gets angry with him as there is no space in the cupboard and they have to go for a function. Bhide says that he completely forgot about this. Then Madhavi tells Bhide to call back Popatlal and inform him to take his gold back.
Lastly in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Bhide calls Popatlal and asks him where is he? Popatlal replies that he has already left for Nashik. Bhide shouts in shock. Popatlal gets scared and asks about his gold. Then Bhide tells that everything is fine. Popatlal asks him why he called him. Bhide tells Popatlal that since he is going on a long journey, he has called to wish him a happy journey. Then Bhide cuts the phone and Madhavi shouts at him as to why Bhide had not told the truth. Bhide tells that he has already left for Nashik, so how can he come back. Then Bhide and Madhavi decide to hand over this gold box to someone else in the society.
