In today’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah episode, Rita reporter interviews everyone and asks them about their experience with Ganpati Bappa and what they feel about Ganesh Utsav. Then Bhide tells his personal experience when he first came to Mumbai. Then Rita interrupts him and tells him to explain about Ganesh Utsav. Then after Bhide, Rita asks Chachaji, Sodhi, Iyer and Hathi as well about the importance of Ganpati Bappa in their lives. Then Rita reporter asks Tapu Sena about their idea of decorating the Ganpati Mandal with Indian freedom fighters. Lastly, Rita reporter ends her interview and is about to leave to go to other societies. Then Popatlal stops her and asks her why she didn’t interview him. Then Rita starts her camera and interviews Popatlal. He starts to introduce himself and tells about his achievements and prays to Ganpati Bappa to give her a beautiful life partner.
Then in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Rita reporter stops him and then she leaves. Then Bagha and Natu Kaka also leave as they wanted to go to the shop. Then everyone asks Bhide about the rang-ga-rang function. Bhide plays a little prank with everyone that he has not planned anything about the function as he thought that Tapu Sena might have planned about it. Tapu Sena denies it and tells them that they thought Bhide might have done all the preparation. Then everyone gets mad at Bhide and tells him he should have done the preparation earlier. Popatlal tells Bhide that if he won’t arrange the rang-ga-rang then he will puncture his Sakaram every day. Madhavi also sides with Popatlal. Then Bhide tells everyone to calm down and tells them that he has already planned the function, he was just having fun with everyone.
Lastly in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Anjali tells everyone to plan about the function as she is going home because she is not going to participate in the function. All ladies as to why she is not going to take part. Anjali lies to them that she is going to meet one of her friends. They tell her to go after the function. She tells them she is going to meet her friend because she doesn’t want to participate in the function. Everyone asks her the reason. She gets emotional and tells everyone that she is missing Taarak today on this special day. Every year she used to participate in the Utsav with Taarak and this year he is not here. Everyone tells her to calm down and Madhavi tells Bhide to call Mehta Saheb, but he doesn’t answer the call. Anjali gets angry and decides not to participate and goes to her house.
