What will certainly excite and leave them captivated will be the captain of Mumbai Warriors, Kailash Kher, who took to the stage to perform to the song ‘Piya ke rang’, leaving everyone speechless. His gravelly voice like always made everyone including the captains of other teams groove to the song. Post his breath-taking performance, Kailash also spoke about how important the city, Mumbai is for him and will always remain to be his ‘Mashuka’ for as long as he lives.

Revealing his feelings for Mumbai, Kailash Kher said “Since childhood we’ve heard people saying that if you get what you are passionate about, your life is successful. And my passion has always been singing which got acknowledged here in Mumbai. I became Kailasa here, even my first album and jingle got released and got popular in Mumbai. You know the first compliment I ever received was at a recording studio from Ram Sampad who was literally taken aback when he heard me. He said that I had a wow factor in my voice to which I was a little hesitant since I’ve been trolled a lot and I thought that even he was probably pulling my leg. But he convinced me and said that Mumbai needed me very badly because according to him there was a vacuum of this kind of voice. When I got that kind of compliment from him, I knew God had heard my prayers. So yeah, this happened in Mumbai, and for me this city will remain my Mashuka and my Ishq for the rest of my life.”

While Kailash Kher’s performance will storm you by the feet, be ready to see the jaw-dropping performances of the other teams that will equally amaze you.
