The rapper J hope recently made a guest appearance on IU’s ongoing talk show IU’s Palette, where he spoke about his recently released solo record ‘Jack In The Box’.
In between interview topics, both J-Hope and IU represented two songs from J-Hope’s new album, ‘Equal Sign’ and ‘Safety Zone’. They also performed on the B-side track ‘Pierrot Laughs At Us’ from IU’s 2014 album ‘A flower bookmark’.
In the duo’s show of ‘Equal Sign’ IU was seen taking charge of the vocal-heavy portions of the song while J-Hope delivered the rap verses. On their performance of ‘Pierrot Laughs At Us’, both of them synced and danced to the beats.
On their social media profiles, both J Hope and IU have updated posts about their performance. While J Hope added pictures with IU and wrote “Thankyou Sister”, IU added a video where both the stars were seen performing on Equal Sign.
IU’s last music release was in December 2021, which was her special album ‘Pieces’, which included several unreleased songs from her previous albums. The album went ahead with the singer’s digital single ‘Strawberry Moon’, which was then followed by IU’s fifth studio album ‘LILAC’.
Besides, J-Hope will be appearing in the upcoming Lollapalooza and will be remembered through “Jack In The Box.”
