Blackpink is Korea’s one of the most popular girl band pop music bands. The girls have been in the news now and then for several reasons. As earlier, their much-anticipated comeback was marked with their recent release of Pink Venom on 19 August. The single already broke many records and completed 100 million views within days.

However, now the fan craze is going on another level. As there are more than three weeks left until the band releases their highly anticipated album Born Pink on 16 September, the girls are already breaking earlier records in the world of k-pop music.

On 25 August, their agency revealed that the girl band had made over 2 million pre-sale orders for the anticipated next album, even weeks before its release. And in this case, Blackpink has become the first ever K-pop girl group to surpass 2 million pre-orders for an album.

The news broke out a few days after their pre-release single Pink Venom on 19 August. On the same day, they released the dance practice for the song.

The much-anticipated album is available in different versions, including an LP, a KIT digipak, and many others, which is also one of the reasons for pre-orders. Meanwhile, it will be exciting to witness how many more sales the girl group makes in the upcoming weeks and even after the album is released in September.
