The internet is flooded with updates around Vince McMahon’s retirement from WWE. His daughter Stephanie McMahon mentioned the news of his retirement. She thanked him for his honest commitment to the company, and his fans shouted, “Thank you, Vince.”

The long-time Chairman Vince McMahon of World Wrestling Entertainment is retiring from the position, he announced on Friday. McMahon stated and was quoted by TMZ,

“As I approach 77 years old, I feel it’s time for me to retire as Chairman and CEO of WWE.”

He added,

“Throughout the years, it’s been a privilege to help WWE bring you joy, inspire you, thrill you, surprise you, and always entertain you.”

While thanking the fans and people who admired him, McMahon stated, “I would like to thank my family for mightily contributing to our success, and I would also like to thank all of our past and present Superstars and employees for their dedication and passion for our brand.”

Vince took over the company from his father in 1982 and has been the face of the same since then. Vince McMahon was responsible for bringing Wrestling to prominence, which helped superstars like The Undertaker, Kane, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, and Chyna become known names.

Vince is the game played behind WrestleMania. McMahon became the biggest WCW in 2001, making his company the most dominated in sports.

Vince McMahon stepped back from his position due to alleged misconduct. His daughter Stephanie McMahon is the company’s new CEO and interim chairwoman.
