The first Test match between India and South Africa has started on a very positive note for team India.
After batting first, India are currently placed at 272/3 at the end of 90 overs at stumps on Day 1. KL Rahul’s heroic effort of 122* (248) has helped India immensely in achieving that.
After a washout on day 2 due to rain, there was no game and hence on day 3, we saw a bit of an extended play. India were bowled out for 327 post which they managed to get South Africa all out in their first innings for 197. India are currently on 16/1 in 2nd innings and they lead by 146 runs.
