For a fairly long time, we have been hearing reports about two new teams being a part of the IPL tournament. Well finally, we have clarity. The two new teams of the tournament are all set to be from Ahmedabad and Lucknow. The Sanjeev Goenka-owned RPSG group has claimed the Lucknow franchise for a bid of Rs 7090 crores whereas the CVC Capital Partners got the Ahmedabad franchise for Rs 5625 crores.
