IPL has been officially canceled due to the covid crisis which is a big matter for our country. IPL was canceled on short notice due to some of the players getting infected with the virus and there is no stoppage. However, that does change the fact that Mumbai Indians were in great shape this year as well. Mumbai Indians didn’t have a perfect start losing their first match against RCB who then went on with a 3-win streak. Mumbai Indians indeed brought an end to the low run drought with Pollard’s amazing strike. Mumbai Indians is without a doubt the most dangerous team in the IPL with players like Rohit Sharma, Surya Kumar Yadav, Pandya brothers, Pollard, and many other players. Not forgetting the bowling side, we have got Bumrah, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar Trent Boult, these bowlers are in perfect shape and ready to go.
Pollard won the hearts of millions after a big win against the team Chennai Super Kings. Chennai gave a target of 218 runs where Faf Du Plessis started with his half-century, Ambati Rayudu finished off the innings and his amazing 72 runs off just 27 balls. The chances of Mumbai Indians winning was less as there were some early wickets at the start. But then the beast Kieron Pollard finished off the match with his amazing knock of 87 runs off just 34 balls. Pollard was awarded the Man of the Match for his blazing performance deservedly.
