Shikhar Dhawan is a fabulous left-handed opening batsman. He is also the captain of Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. The cricketer made his debut back in 2004 and enjoys a huge fan following across the country and even on social media, where he keeps updating some interesting posts. 

Recently, Shikhar Dhawan shared a reel that showed him indulging in cricket practice sessions and captioned it, “Set your goals high and don’t stop till you get there!”

The reel shared by Shikhar Dhawan immediately got viral and many fans added praising comments on the post. A fan mentioned, “want you back in Indian team as an opener”. While another fan added, “Tumhare bina nahi ata 20-20 World Cup..Wo Bhi Australia Me.”

Besides, not long ago a dance video of the Indian cricket team on the ‘Kala Chasma’ song went viral and was loved by fans.

Additionally, Shikhar Dhawan has just recently made his Bollywood debut in the Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Double XL. Speaking about the movie, he said, “As an athlete playing for the nation, life is always very hectic. One of my favorite pastimes is to watch good entertaining films. When this opportunity came to me and I heard the story, it made a deep impact on me.”
