The former Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag has received a lot of love and support from his fans, in his lifetime. He was regarded as one of the best destructive batsmen in his time. He made his first international debut in One day Internationals (ODIs) in 1999. Sehwag is the only player in the world cricket history to score a double century in ODI, and a triple century in Test Cricket, after the Caribbean player, Chris Gayle. The former right-handed opening batsman has done wonders with his amazing stroke in the field. He is a perfect T20 opening batsman for any team, be it in Twenty20 International, or Indian Premier League, or Champions League Twenty20.
On the other hand, the vice-captain of the Indian Cricket team and the opener, Rohit Sharma is currently considered as a great player. His slow and steady batting skills and strategies, make him score a run chase for his team. Apart from being an amazing right-hand batsman, Rohit is also an immense right-arm bowler too. The player has a batting average of 49.3 in the ODIs, 46.5 in Test, and 36.6 in T20. He is regarded as the only fastest Indian batsman to score a century in the T20s.
Both, Virender Sehwag and Rohit Sharma have made several records for India, at the international level. They can’t be compared, on the basis of their skills. Both of them have done a wonderful job as an opener in the T20 matches. We can’t decide between the two.
