Rishabh Pant has been a great batsman over the past few years. He has proved his dominance in the Indian cricket team once again in the ODI series against England. There are simply no words to describe the batsman’s class having unmatched skills in the pocket, and when the time comes, the player shows no sign of backing off. Rishabh Pant will indeed prove its worth. At 23, Pant will turn into the fifth-most youthful skipper in the IPL after Virat Kohli, Steven Smith, Suresh Raina, and Shreyas Iyer. While Kohli and Smith accepted captaincy at 22, Raina and Iyer were 23.
Considering his low experience, Pant competed to replace Iyer alongside the senior Indian pair of R Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane, who had long authority stretches at Kings XI Punjab and the Rajasthan Royals, individually. Pant had just driven Delhi in homegrown cricket. However, he has been in great touch and has been a match-winner for India as of late. Starting with the impressive Test series win in Australia followed by the success across the three series against England at home.
