On the contrary, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, also known as PV Sindhu by many, has made the nation proud too. She is currently the brightest face of the Indian Badminton, by being one of the highest-paid female athletes in 2018 and 2019, as per Forbes. PV Sindhu made her international debut in 2009 at Sub-Junior Asian Badminton Championships held in Colombo and grabbed the Bronze medal. She has brought the silver medal from the Olympics to the nation. In 2019, she won the gold medal at the BWF World Championships. At a very young age of 17, she got herself into the top 20 badminton players in the world, as per BWF World Ranking.
