The outbreak of Coronavirus has wreaked havoc all around the world. With a country like India where not all people are privileged to get the best medical treatment, it is difficult for people to survive such a crisis. Also due to the lockdown and quarantine rules, daily wage earners and migrant labourers are affected the most. Well, our sports champions entered the ground like they always do for their country and stood strong. Let us see a few Indians sports stars who are donating to the people who need the most at the moment.

Rohit Sharma: The Hitman has donated Rs.80 lakhs in total, with 45 lakhs to the PM care fund, 25 lakhs to the Maharashtra CM relief fund, and 5 lakh each to the feeding India and welfare of street dogs.

Sania Mirza: Ace tennis star Sania Mirza is donating in a different manner. She has stepped forward to raise money to provide food and other basic necessities for the daily wage workers who are severely hit by the pandemic.

Sachin Tendulkar: Known as God of cricket, he donated Rs.50 lakh to the PM care fund.

P V Sindhu: P V Sindhu donated Rs.5 lakhs each to the CM relief fund of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Suresh Raina: The cricketer made a donation of Rs.52 lakhs in these difficult times of the pandemic.

Bajrang Punia: Wrestler Bajrang Punia has donated his salary of six months to the Haryana CM relief fund to fight the ongoing Coronavirus.
