RJ and better half of actor Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sidhu is not very happy with the current season of Colors reality show, Bigg Boss, which she is reviewing on YouTube (YT) on her channel, The Big Breakdown.

“We decided to video review this season, wanting to test the waters for a few new concepts. This time I am saying what I feel is my take on the daily happenings in the Bigg Boss house only on YT and am not commenting much on Twitter, unlike last time, when KV was part of the mix.”

“This season is a big disappointment, for it is no longer Bigg Boss. Rather, it has become another version of Splitsvilla and Bachelor, where you either flirt or fight to stay in the race.”

“Paras Chabbra, who is supposed to be engaged to Akansha Puri, is openly making time with Mahira Sharma and Shehnaaz Gill. He is wearing a sacred thread on his wrist so as to hide the tattoo of his fiancé’s name. The fact that you are playing the game just to win does send wrong signals to the youth.”

Shifting gears to Shehnaaz, Teejay said, “I am a Punjabi and never knew her as the Katrina Kaif of Punjab.”

Here she further added, “The sleeping arrangements of letting guys and girls bunk together is not done. This is India and you can’t bring in Bigg Brother concepts like a guy and girl under a single blanket. Have you ever thought what families outside will think?”

Teejay went on say, “Despite only having celebs on board this season, I seem to be finding zilch interest in the tv crowd, with most finding it banal. Ideally, Colors/Endemol Shine should have taken a break like first planned, which would have given them time to go back to the drawing board regarding concepts and tasks.”

Asked about the first set of eliminations, and she quipped, “Daljiet Kaur’s exit was sad; poor thing did not get time enough to get her view point across. She is a very strong woman.”

“Guess Bigg Boss does not want independent females who refuse to flirt around. No wonder even Koena Mitra was sent home so early. She too was speaking her mind and not taking shit from anyone.”

“Some might find her abrasive, but that’s how she is in person as well, having seen a lot in life.”

Teejay does not think that Rashami Desai, who is a well-known TV name, might go this week as her opponent is none other than Mahira. “Agreed they can’t send the latter packing (Paras, Mahira and Shehnaz triangle) as well, so they will find some way out.”

In closing, when asked about KV’s Bigg Boss journey last year, she says, “He proved that he could entertain in the right way (singing and dancing). But unfortunately, most of it did not make it to the final 45 minutes cut. Had he won, it would have put out the message that good family guys can also win, so why would future contestants give masala?” ended Teejay.
