I love him and he is my biggest supporter in all walks of life. I am a big foodie. So, whenever my mom used to not be at home for 2-3 days, my brother always made it a point to make my favourite dishes.”

Talking about her cherished memories with her brother, Ashi said, “My most cherished childhood memory for Raksha Bandhan is getting up early, dressing up and waiting for the gift from my brother. I still get excited about the same till date.”

While recollecting a recent memory, Ashi said, “Another recent memory which I will always cherish is my brothers reaction when I bagged the role of Yasmine in Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga. The way he supported me and witnessing his happiness meant everything to me and while I was a little nervous about stepping in a new fantasy genre, my brother’s support gave me the confidence to give my best.”

Ashi further added, “I miss him today, as these festivals are meant to be celebrated with the entire family but given the current situation, we all will connected over video call and had a virtual celebration.”
