Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are truly one of the most desirable and loveable couples of the TV industry. Both have even worked together earlier in the serial Chhoti Bahu but that’s not where they fell in love. IWMBuzz engaged in a short conversation with Rubina and Abhinav during the lockdown. Rubina & Abhinav, what is that one thing that has inspired you about each other?
Rubina: Well, we both are naturally two different human beings. I am more organized in my way of going about things whereas he is more spontaneous. I think it’s nice we both are different because that’s how we learn from one another. I have realized after being with him that everything cant be organized in life. There will be times where you need to be absolutely fearless in your decisions and I think I have learnt that quality of fearlessness from him.
Abhinav : Well, as she rightly pointed out I am more of a go with the flow kind of a person but everything in life can’t be attained with that approach. You need a sense of discipline and calmness which I feel she has brought in my life. I think the best thing about us is we love our similarities and respect our differences equally. That’s a common point for both of us.
What about marriage, who proposed whom first for marriage?
Rubina: Well, we had dated for quite a long time, and to be honest, it was me who had first approached about taking the relationship forward to marriage. He made me wait for 8-9 months before we both decided to go ahead and now we are here. (Smiles)
Abhinav, you are known to be a fitness freak. Aren’t you missing your gym?
Well, I am missing it daily. I have a revelation to make. I have not worked out even a bit in the last sixty days of lockdown. I want to see how my body responds to this. It is used to training so now let me see how it responds (Chuckles)

Its a difficult time guys. We both want each and every one of you to be safe and secured. We can never thank you all enough for the love you all give us. Keep showering us with love. We need it always
