Parth Samthaan is playing one of the iconic actors of television Anurag Basu from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. He has been cough opposite Erica Fernandes who is playing the character of Prerna in the Ekta Kapoor's hit TV show.

Parth Samthaan is a model turn actor who has been featured in various episodes of Savdhaan India, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, etc.

He has been able to bag the role of Anurag Basu after defeating many contenders because of his perfect chocolate boy looks and good acting skills.

Many of his characteristics are quite like that of Anurag Basu but at times he is quite different from that. The actor lost his father recently in the month of April yet he is enacting the role on TV with such emotional balance that is so unlike his screen’s character.

Since the serial is gaining high TRP there are a lot of twists and turn in the series after brings out various shades of each artist characters on screen.

It’s a sheer coincidence that few of his attributes match with that of onscreen Anurag while others are strictly contrasting.

Unlike Anurag of the series, he is quite witty and balanced mind who takes his decisions based on rationality.

Anurag can be seen in the series as love stuck personality who is unable to judge rationally because he is shattered and is unable to come out of the shock that his lady love has quitted him to marry another rich businessman. He does not want to believe that his lady love might have been under circumstantial pressure to do so.

In real life, he is the man who loves to make rational decisions. In one of his post on Instagram, he shared a clip of his in which he captioned “sometimes We men take our women for granted, be it mother, sister, wife or girlfriend…..but don’t forget……they do have a right …..right to speak, right to take their own decisions, right to fight …hence…treat them with warmth and respect them, irrespective of Mother’s Day or women’s day or any other day”!
