Aditya Redij talks about his role in Porus.

Siddharth Kumar Tewary is a pioneer in getting new content on TV: Aditya Redij

Talented actor Aditya Redij feels his wait for a good project on Indian television was worth it.

The actor who will be seen mesmerizing audience as King Bahmani in Sony TV’s upcoming show Porus (Swastik Productions) is glad to be part of a different show.

Says Aditya, “The first thing that came to my mind about taking up this show was that it is Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s show. I was personally looking forward to doing something different on TV hence I was on a break. This show is by far the most unique thing on Indian television. I feel glad to be playing a powerful, dominating and assertive character in the series.”

Talking about the preparation behind his character, he avers, “I have learnt a lot of things on-set while doing scenes. I was the last one to be casted, hence didn’t have much time to prepare for the role. However, the show had a lot of time before the launch; so we had time to study the character properly. Whenever I get free time on-set, I do work on my character.”

Ask him about the USP of the show that will make it popular amongst viewers, he quips, “Audience wants to see something different. I believe in what Mahatma Gandhi said, ‘Be the change that you wish to see in the world.’ I strongly feel Siddharth Kumar Tewary is a pioneer in getting new content and ideas to the platform. We are very confident of our show.”

Way to go, Aditya!!
