IWMBuzz.com reviews Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi, Naye Kissey

Sony SAB takes audiences down memory lane with India’s most loved show Wagle Ki Duniya new season named Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi, Naye Kissey produced by Hats Off Productions. The new series aims to portray the strong value system and humble upbringing of the middle-class of today, their daily life and issues.

Wagle couple Aanjjan Srivastav as Srinivas Wagle and Bharati Achrekar as Radhika Wagle represent the older generation. The story thereon takes a leap forward and is set in today’s time with the new generation of Wagle and family. The new era of Wagle Ki Duniya features Sumeet Raghavan in the lead as Srinivas’s son, Rajesh Wagle and Pariva Pranati as his wife, Vandana Wagle.

In the history of Indian television, there have been many shows which have entertained the audience. However, there are very few shows that have gone on to achieve legendary status with people reminiscing about them fondly even today. One such show is Wagle Ki Duniya, which, with its highly relatable storyline and beautifully crafted characters made the nation fall in love with the simple story of a common man.

The attention to detail, the expressions of the actors, the costume, set, all prove that the job is done well. The dialogues are extremely well-written, performed well by the talented bunch of actors.

All the talented actors Sumeet Raghavan, Aanjjan Srivastav, Bharati Achrekar and Pariva Pranati perform superbly, staying true to their characters and eliciting laughter with their antics. The sparkling humor and implausible happenings in the show keep us firmly glued to our seats and brings a smile on our face.

One of our favourite scenes from the first episode is the one wherein Rajesh and his wife Vandana design the new house for Shrinivas and Radhika in such a way that the entire décor in the flat has old elements from their previous Dadar house. Shrinivas and Radhika get a pleasant surprise when they see that. This makes us emotional and simultaneously brings a smile.

Overall, Wagle Ki Duniya is very relatable and a happy feel-good show with impressive performances. We hope that it continues to capture the audience’s attention in the near future too.

We at IWMBuzz.com credit Wagle Ki Duniya with 4 stars.
