The episode of Kundali Bhagya starts with Pammi telling Rakhi that she should have brought Karan back. She should have stopped him from being arrested. Pammi says that now she thinks Karina is right about Preeta. She is not the right daughter-in-law for the house. Rakhi tells her to stop talking bad about Preeta as she is like her daughter. She says that she feels bad that Karan is arrested, but what he did is right as only a man can do that. She tells Pammi that she knows Karan from childhood; he became a star and only would care about himself. But after Preeta came into his life, he started taking more responsibility in the family. He started caring for others than himself. And this change in Karan is only because of Preeta.
She says Preeta also stood for the family when there were any problems. Rakhi says there is nothing wrong if Karan took the blame on himself for Preeta because if he wouldn’t have done it then she would feel that she didn’t raise him properly. She tells Pammi to never talk bad about Preeta as she is not just a daughter in law and they trust her completely. She says that Preeta can never kill anyone. Prithvi agrees with her and says Preeta is innocent. Rakhi hugs Preeta. Pammi thinks she will not apologize to Preeta in front of Prithvi. She tells Kritika to take Prithvi to his room as he must be tired.
Preeta apologizes to Rakhi, Mahesh comes and asks why she is feeling sorry. He tells Suresh that they have succeeded in getting Preeta out of jail. Rakhi asks Mahesh if he remembers everything, Suresh signals her to not talk about that. Rakhi remembers how doctors told them not to give stress to Mahesh. Prithvi calls Sherlyn who is passing by and tells her that the blackmailer is none other than Megha. He tells Sherlyn that he had told her he is innocent but she didn’t believe him. Sherlyn says she believed him as she checked the tomato sauce stains. Prithvi says she needed proof to believe him. Mahira comes and says they need to help Karan come out of the jail. She says she is thinking of taking help from her father. Prithvi says why she wants to ruin it and they can let Karan stay in jail. Mahira says he doesn’t want Karan to come out as he wants to be with Preeta. Prithvi warns her and leaves the room. Mahira tells Sherlyn that Prithvi is trying to cheat on her. Sherlyn tells her to leave them alone. Kritika comes and asks what she is doing in Prithvi’s room. Sherlyn says she got lost and goes. Kritika gets suspicious.
