Preeta begs Karan to let her in by opening the door. Sherlyn instructs Preeta to leave their home, travel too far, and never return. Preeta is his daughter, he says, and he begs the family to call her. She informs Sarla that Luthras made the same error as before and kicked Preeta out of their home. Preeta is asked by Sarla if this is real, and if they have lost Pihu permanently. The Luthras weep for Karan, who has been depressed since Preeta went for a week.
Kareena requests that Sonakshi assist Karan in overcoming his despair. She informs him that she has given him her daughter, but that he has lost Pihu and is now only thinking of Preeta. She claims that Preeta murdered Pihu and that he is still enraged by Preeta. Preeta snatched his happiness, she shattered his family, she is the one who has devastated their lives, he tells Sarla. Sarla wonders how Karan would accuse Preeta when she knows she could never kill Pihu. He requests that Sarla keep her daughter with her since he does not want a selfish lady like Preeta, who murdered Pihu for money. Preeta wonders how Karan can accuse Sarla if something goes wrong in their lives. Karan questions Preeta about why she didn’t trust him to save Pihu. Preeta begs Karan to help her.
Sarla advises her to maintain her self-esteem by refusing to forgive or tolerate wrongdoing by her husband if he assaults it. She tells Preeta that she must never accept wrongdoing. Preeta is told to quit crying and forget about Karan. Preeta, she says, would never cry and will move on with her life.
