Today’s Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke 18 April episode starts with members of the Maheshwari family who are applying haldi on Ketki (Trishaa Chatterjee) while Rajshri (Lata Sabharwal) inquires about the whereabouts of Meenakshi (Rupal Patel).
Mishty (Rhea Sharma) notices Abir (Shaheer Sheikh) and strikes a conversation with him. Abir senses Mishty’s confusion concerning the wedding. Meanwhile, Kuhu and Kunal have a friendly conversation. They discuss Mishty and Abir’s love for poetry. Kunal asks Kuhu about Mishty’s courtship request.
Mishty shares her dreams and aspirations with Abir. She says she wants to have a marital courtship with Kunal. Meenakshi tells Naanu that he didn’t take her verdict concerning Kunal and Mishty’s relationship. She counts her favors on him. Owing to a misunderstanding created by Jugnu, Nidhi questions Mishty for taking Kunal to the court.
Meenakshi asks Mishty about everything while Vishambhar tells Meenakshi that Mishty wants a marital courtship before marrying Kunal. Naanu says he is ready for their request. Meenakshi says Kunal is not a thing whom Mishty will check before marriage. Rajshri tries to make Meenakshi understand Mishty’s viewpoint but fails.
Meanwhile, Parekh family shows up at the Rajvansh house to perform ritual and that is why Meenakshi avoids creating a scene in front of them. However, she taunts Mishty indirectly for having kept conditions even in the marriage but to her dismay, Abir handles that situation.
