After wowing us with her performance in TV shows, super sexy Sara Khan is now turning her attention to gracing music videos. Barely after the crazy response to just the trailer of her sizzling music video with Angad Hasija, comes yes another – Sara’s next video, shot in Dubai.
Punjabi song, Trend, sung by well-known singles and film playback singer, Ramji Gulati, is an ode to the beauty of the Indian woman. The makers want to show that no matter how few clothes a girl wears, she will still not look as hot as a girl dressed in traditional wear.
“We are not against western clothes, mind you; every woman has the right to choose what she wants to wear. All we say is that one should not fall prey to the notion that western alone is good. I personally believe that a woman looks the hottest in Indian wear,” says Ramji, who has just sung two songs for the recent film, Jack and Dill.
“I chose Sara, for she represents the young confident Indian woman. Plus, she is a very good friend. Shooting with her was a breeze, for she knew what was expected from her.”
Sara on her part says, “This was the fastest track I have ever worked on, and I just love the lyrics. Ramji and I go back a long way; he is like family. We all have worked very hard for this video, shooting in the scorching West Asian desert. Full marks to our creative, for the video looks perfect. Do check it out on 15 November, when it hits the air waves.”
On Indian vs western, Sara says, “While it is tough to wear ethnic on a day to day basis, I prefer it for events. You must have seen me in similar attire at many dos.”
